Job Description:
This position will work as a part of the Anchor Point Lodge team to prepare for and serve all guests at Anchor Point Lodge. The position is part of a small, close-knit team and therefore will be involved in every aspect of Anchor Point Lodge. This individual will act as a coordinator for guests, a chef, housekeeper, host and an organizer of staff and volunteers in preparation and servicing all our guests needs while at Anchor Point Lodge.
Job Duties:
Primary job duties include prepping, cooking, serving and cleaning up meals for guest groups, communication prior to arrival, audio/visual knowledge, snow removal, landscaping, maintenance and assisting with housekeeping. These responsibilities must be approached with a level of initiative, assertiveness, flexibility and vision that reflects a constant desire to see that a Guest’s experience at Anchor Point Lodge is excellent.

Communicate a sense of warm hospitality towards all staff and guests of Anchor Point Lodge.
​
Serve as a kitchen lead, guest service host, housekeeper and maintenance person as scheduled with other staff of Anchor Point Lodge.
​
Be able to anticipate and attend to guest and staff needs, as well as troubleshoot and respond to any situation during the assigned shifts.
​
Supervise the development, operation and maintenance of all aspects of group/lodge services responsibilities. This position will focus on but is not limited to:

​Cooking, ordering, stocking, serving and cleaning

​Landscaping/maintenance

​This job requires lifting of up to 60lbs.
​
Work within the Housekeeping Department weekly, as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager.
Flexibility to help in other areas of Lodge operations and other Lodge departments as needed during shifts.
Research, develop, and implement specific projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Serve and host all groups and events in any area needed along with all full-time and seasonal staff.
Participate in daily/weekly spiritual development.

Pay is based on qualifications and position

Housing, electricity, gas, trash and internet provided, as well as a season pass to a local Ski resort.
Tahoe is a world class resort town that offers year-round adventure, from skiing, snowboarding and a variety of winter sports to hiking, boating and lake activities during the summer.
Note:
It is recommended (but not required) that you have an AWD/4WD vehicle and a mountain bike for the different seasons.
Housing is off site (10 minutes from the lodge by vehicle) so transportation is needed.
